... on updating soon

I'm currently working on the next strip. It has a sex scene in it, these take more time than my usual "talking heads" strips.

Unfortunately, November was an awesome month for DVDs, which has made my progress slow. Anyone who knows me knows I have an absolute adoration for DVDs. I have over 300 of the shiny things and is growing. This month movies were Star Wars II, Spiderman, and Lord of the Rings: Extended Version. Man, am I a happy camper I held out for the extended version. Usually adding another 30 minutes to an already long movie would kill it -- in this case, it improved it dramatically. And the extras! This is truly one of the best DVDs in my collection, and I urge everyone to buy it if you haven't already. Just amazing.

I also got Star Trek: TNG Season 5 and Futurama Season 2. The transfer seems poorer and granier when compared to earlier sets. Anyone else notice this? The Futurama DVD set is a decent set, even if the commentaries seem a little uninspired. There is one deleted scene that made me laugh my ass off -- from the "Bender Gender" episode, Mom is in the crowd at the wrestling arena and screams out, "Make that bitch your bitch you bastard!!!" And the DVD set is automatically worth the money.

(For anyone who is wondering, I have a multi-region PAL/NTSC DVD player. Japanese DVDs are incredibly expensive, usually double the price of their American counterparts. If its anime or a Japanese film, it's usually triple. Someone explain to me why importing Kurosawa Criterion disks is cheaper than buying them here).

Anyways, I've talked enough. On Monday, you'll find here a short thing I wrote on the moral of A Heart Made of Glass. I hope someone finds it interesting.
